Milwaukee, WI offers some of the best salmon and trout fishing on Lake Michigan. Being centrally located on the lake we reap the benefits of being far enough south to have amazing Coho Salmon fishing early in the season as well as being far enough North to have great King salmon fishing during the summer and Fall.
Coho Salmon fishing begins in May and stays consistent through June. July, August and September typically brings more King (Chinook) salmon, Steelhead and Lake Trout.
There really isn't a better or worse time in the season to book you're trip. Fishing can be great all season.
